Regan’s reluctance turns into Olympic Opportunity again

When it was suggested to Regan at Little Athletics that she should try walking events, she was not keen on the look of the sport. Move forward a decade or so and she is about to go to her second Olympic Games, representing Australia in the 20km walk. So you could say she is now hooked!
Screen Shot 2016-07-19 at 11.50.28 amShe placed 17th in the 20K in London in 2012 and has had her share of injuries since, but her performances this year have been her best ever. Perhaps the highlight of her career thus far was when the Victorian, 12th in a time of 1:29:33 in the individual, led Australia to its silver medal in the team event behind a very strong Chinese team.

We’ll be following you in Rio, Regan. All the best!
