Women’s boxing makes history in London 2012 as the sport makes it Olympic debut. Strongly established among male athletes since 1904, the sport involves two boxers competing in three bouts of three minutes each, scoring points for each punch landed successfully.
Naomi-Lee Fischer-Rasmussen is the first and only female boxer representing Australia in the 2012 Olympics. The top ranked female boxer in Oceania, normally boxing at 69kg, she will have to compete at the 75kg weight division for London. Check out this interview with Naomi.
